The Packraft tour is a unique and exciting way to explore the Colorado River in Liberia/Guanacaste. This tour offers a combination of adventure and nature, allowing you to paddle through the crystal-clear waters of the river while observing the wildlife that inhabits this region. If you pay attention, you might see white-faced monkeys, iguanas, and various types of birds as you journey through the Colorado River canyon.
You will feel the fresh breeze on your face as you glide through the imposing Class I and II rapids. You will hear nature through the sound of the rapids and the whisper of the leaves as you float downstream. And most importantly, you will create memories that will last a lifetime.
Once the clients arrive at the tour start area, our certified guides will assist them with the mandatory equipment (life jacket, helmet, and paddle) and then provide an introduction on how to paddle and use the packrafts. Once everyone is prepared, the descent through the Colorado River canyon will begin, where they will encounter Class I and II rapids. At the end of the canyon tour, tropical fruit snacks await, followed by a shower and a change of wet clothes.
